    Kenmore coldspot 106, top freezer
My Kenmore Coldspot 106 top freezer/refrigerator not longer cools as before. My freezer is not as cold and the refrigerator nothing. I have defrosted and cleaned. The shelf between the freezer and refrigerator is somewhat warm.

Not sure what else to do?

    Ideas:

    1. I assume the thermostat is set properly If not, turn the temperature down.
    2. The damper that controls air movement may be fault. It may have to be repaired or replaced.
    3. Have a service guy check the Freon pressure. You may have a small leak in the system.

Because you said the freezer as well as the refrigerator compartment is warmer than usual, if it's not the thermostat then it's probably low on Freon.
