    Homelite repair
    The string on my weedeater has tightened (locked up)... took it apart & is still tightening up... don't know what to do?? :mad::mad:

    Hi,
    It is not clear exactly how and why it locks up. I have however seen these heads assembled upside-down in which case they melt into the other parts of the machine. Match hex shape hole to he shaped shaft I n that case if not ruined. Not saying that is what you have; just that I have too little inf!
