    Trans swap
    I have a 95 f350 7.3 5 speed and I would like to put a 6speed from a 2000 f350 7.3 in it. Both are 2wd can it be done and what do I half to do to do it

    Make sure that the lengths of the tranny's are the same... in other words, make sure that they are the same size and will swap without making another drive shaft, or having to cut stuff up... then, make sure the wiring will work or switch that too... it should work... just use your head and pay attention to what you are doing...
