    My husband's employer made an "error" in his check and split it up into 2 parts, thus receiving 2 checks, so taxes were deducted TWICE!! He works in KY, and they tax us to death anyway. Is the employer obligated to reimburse him for their mistake?

    Yes, if you were double-taxed (i.e. taxed TWICE on the same pay).

    Otherwise, no!
