    Birth Certificate Laws in Florida
Hey! Does anyone know if you can put the baby's father's name on the child's birth certificate if he is not there and doesn't sign?

The father always has to sign. Not sure of any way to get around that legally.
You can not just put his name. For one thing if you break up and his name is on it he is held responsible for child support even if he is not the father. I heard some states he can challenge it but many he can't.
He could get you in trouble for fraud though.
