    Hi Liz,
First you must locate it. The leak isn't always where the hot spot is. When we have this problem we call n a company named Slueth. Hey ,locate the leak, jcachammer up the floor, dig down and bare the leak and bag the dirt. The p;lumber then comes in and drains the house down and repairs the leak. He will repolace the dirt and cement a patch but if it's tile then a tile man must be brought in to run a patch. Good luck Tom

Tom, thanks for your help. I am understanding that I would just leave the horizontal run of pipe into the 14"x14" hole and that would leave me enough room for the rest of the plumbing, correct?
