Hey. My last period started on the 7th of May. My boyfriend & I had unprotected sex on the 25th & 26th of that month. At the beginning of June, I started having several pregnancy symptoms. I had nausea in the morning; headaches; backaches; very tender breasts; & etc. I have always had very regular periods. However, this month, my period was around five days late. I bled pretty heavy & dark blood for about four days. On that fourth day, I started having a brownish red colored discharge. Only noticeable when I wiped. That has been going on for four days now. However, all of those symptoms that I did have, now have disappeared. I have been gaining wait however & feeling bigger around the stomach. I just feel different & sleep all the time. I was wondering if there was a chance I could potentially be pregnant?

It sounds unlikely because your period was regular. What you are seeing is that last fading signs of the period. Often PMS symptoms mimic pregnancy symptoms.

Also, even if you were pregnant, it's unlikely that your belly would be noticeable this early.

If in doubt, see your doctor or go to a local Planned Parenthood clinic. While you're there, get a Rx for birth control and some condoms.

If you are not ready to become a parent, do not have sex. And if you do, protect yourself. But know that even birth control methods are not 100% but they at least lower your risk of an unwanted pregnancy.

You menstrated for four days. Although your menstration was a bit different, if you are menstrating, you are unlikely pregnant.

That said, if you don't want to be pregnant, consider this month's menstration a gift and only practice protected sex. Use at least two forms of birth control as protection.

Talk to your parents or visit your local planned parenthood, if you think you are old enough to have sex, then behave responsibly.
