    Hello judpa:

    Nope. Warrants never expire.

Once you are charged, the SOL (Statute of Limitations) no longer applies. Sorry, looks like you're SOL (the other one).

A SOL on a criminal issue is the time from when the crime happems to when they are charged. Once charged this stops the SOL.

So once a warrant is issued it will remain valid unless the court specificly closes it.

So the warrant will be valid 20 years, 30 years or more

I think everyone else jumped the gun here. The OP never once said there was a warrant issued; I'm reading that their license was revoked, not that there is a warrant.

Now, if there IS a warrant, then no, there is no SOL on it. But if your license was revoked for DUI, sometimes there are certain steps you have to complete - once you do that, you can get your license back. Have you checked to see if your license is currently valid?

    Hello this:

I read it as a "revocation" of probation or parole or some supervision of some sort... But, I see that I made that up. Maybe it WAS a drivers license revocation...

But, if it WAS revoked, I'll bet it still is, and I'll bet he won't be able to get one from any state.. I don't think THAT would have anything to do with the statute of limitations, though.

Maybe... another case of us all holding our breath and waiting for the OP to come back :)

I read it that way because I know someone who has four DUI convictions under his belt and all he got was a revoked driver's license - they only suspended it when they caught him driving with a revoked license.
