I've been sexually active for a couple years now and for some reason I always get super paranoid about becoming pregnant. I think it's just for the simple fact that I don't ever plan on having kids.

I've been on the pill almost a year now and I've never had any problems with it and never ever missed one. Just a few weeks ago one night I had sex with a friend. Of course I got paranoid, as always, but a week later I got my period right when it was suppose to come.

Any symptoms I have I can explain w/out being pregnant. Yes, I'm tired a lot. But I'm a full time student and I work night shift. I've been like this since I started the job. I don't feel sick or nauses and I don't believe my breasts seem any different. But I don't really know what they're suppose feel like anyway... sore? I think the only reason why I get scared is because I have a little tiny weight gain, but that could easily be because of eating food lol. I'm not sure how quickly a stomach begins to form for women who are pregnant.

I know it sounds like Im paranoid. My next period is expected next week, but I hear stories of women who get their period and are still pregnant. I guess a test is the best way of knowing, but is there a certain time I should take it for the most accurate results?

Maybe you are just paranoid. If you have been taking the pill then you shouldn't worry about anything. You may be gaining weight due to the because pills. That tends to be an side effect. Sometimes people who are to worried about getting pregnant seem to think they are when they not.

Thanks, I think that might be the case as well. And for some reason I think that just because I don't plan on having kids (of course my attitude can always change about that but that's how I feel now) that it's going to end up happening just for that fact.

But I'm sure it's just paranoia, I have some anxiety issues as well so that could be why I react this way.
