    Washer drain leaking.
We're experiencing water leakage when we run our washer. The water exhaust pipe hangs into a hole behind the washer. It's coming from behind the wall the washer is on and leaking out the foundation to outside. Problem with drain? We are on a cement slab. A little history here... a few years back we had to replace the pipe going from our house to the street... were having back up issues everywhere. Come to find out the previous owners were dumping their aquarium rocks down the toilet. Since then all has been fine. Any ideas?

Are you saying that you have a washer box, (see image) and when the washer discharges it backs up out of the top and leaks down inside the wall to the floor, or that the leak's next to the floor? Which is it? Back to you, Tom

Thanks for your reply. Our "washer box" is the faucets sticking out of the wall behind the washer... house is old/built 1948. When the water discharges it seems to be leaking out of the drain behind the wall and out to the cement slab outside. I'm not sure how it can make it between the cinderblock wall and cement slab, though. Nothing is coming in to the house.
