    Subpumb sewer smell
I have a new construction home and I am getting a sewer smell from my subpump. I sucked all the water out with a wet/dry vac cleaned up some old clippings, then poured water back in with bleach. The smell went away for a day, and it now returns. I just noticed in my front yard that the grass is very green about three feet from my clean out pipe. Can that pipe be leaking and running into my drain around the house which leads to the subpump? There are days the smell is worse than others.

When you poured bleach in the sump did you scrub and brush down the sides of the sump or just let it set? Go back and brush down the walls with full strength bleach and let it stand for a few hours. Good lucki. Tom
