    Ceiling Fan Switch
The chain broke on our ceiling fan for the Fan speed control. I bought a new chain, took the switch apart inside, and can't figure out how to get the spring to wind tight enough to get it back together so it will work properly. Looked pretty easy, but once put back together, there is no dial when I pull the chain. Is it cheaper just to buy a new switch?

    Thank you.
