Semi-long-term GF 'loves' me, likes someone else
I've been with my girlfriend for over three years, and I really care about her. She tells me she loves me, but lately she's been a little awkward around me. Originally I thought this was because we'd been long-distance for a year just prior to this, but now I'm wondering if it's something else. A -completely- reliable source told me that she likes one of her friends, but when I eased the possibility of other people into the conversation, she flatly denied it. It seems like a one-sided crush to me, but it's still really painful, and the fact that she lied to me about it hurts even more.

What do I do? What should I even be feeling right now?

Are you in a long distance relationship now? How old are you?

Sorry for all the questions, but it'd really help.

If she's your "semi" long-term girlfriend does this mean she's your "semi" girlfriend? In which would mean it'd be o.k. for her to like someone else.

If I were you I would ask her about it again, and let her know who told you- why hide it, your in a relationship with her.

My age is 19; she's 18. I returned from long-distance about 5 weeks ago. Semi-long-term is in terms of 3 years not being an extremely long time to be in a relationship. I'm pretty serious about her.

Three years is a long time to be in a relationship.

She's been gone for only 5 weeks and likes someone else, I see a little red flag.

How far is she? Can you visit her?

Oh, no, no. I was gone for a year long-distance and returned to where she is 5 weeks ago. We're not long-distance anymore.
