    Take your Homestead for Civil Law Suit
    Hi,
    I am being sued for a loan from an individual, we are going to cival court soon... Can they take away my homestead or garnish my wages for this cival suit.

    This can depend on first what country you live in, US, Canada, France?

    In the US it can depend on what state. In some states yes they can, in others no they can't
