    Toilet repair
    The flange from my toilet bowl to the waste drain needs to be replaced. The on I need to remove has been glued in. What is the best(Safest) way to remove it without damaging the waste drain?

    Once PVC or ABS has been glued they melt and weld themselves together. The only way to remove the flange is to cut it out. However if the slot's broken they make a repair kit, (see image) that most hardware stores carry. I would forsure try the repair kit before I cut the flange out. Good luck, Tom
