Lien for Non-Payment of Homeowner's Fee
What do I need to do to file a lien against someone who purchased an acre lot in my subdivision, who refuses to pay, or pays very late, the annual homeowner's fee as stated in the covenants of record? They paid the fee 4 months late, but no interest, late charges, etc.

YOU don't need to do anything. The board of the HOA MAY be able to file a lien with the county recorder of deeds. It depends on what's written into the covenants or by-laws of the HOA. You should have an attorney on retainer to answer such questions and act for the board.
