Can a guy be frined with his ex who is single and want him back?
Me and my boyfriend have been dating for 6month. We have a long distance relationship so we see each other every 2 or three month. We know each other as friends friend for 10 years. I love this guy so much but the problem is he is still friends with his ex who he dated for five years and they live in the same city. They call each other e-mail and they are in the same circle of friends so they even see each other sometimes. I used to live in the city where they still live and I have seen her few times and we say hi to each other that is all our relationship was. Now suddenly since he told her we are dating she also wants to be friend with me. She added me in her Facebook and e-mails me we should be friend. I feel like she wants him back. I'm really worried they would get back together and I would be hurt. He also told me she wants him back and they started talking before I came in to the picture.
What should I do? Any advise?

It might be time to steer clear of him. He's treating you unfairly. It's fine if she still wanted him back, but he shouldn't be talking to her if she feels that way. That would be leading her on.

However, on the other hand, if he doesn't have any feelings left for her, he can be friends with her. In this case, you will have to trust him. You're just going to have to talk to him about his feelings for her. If he can't be upfront about it, then you will have to make a decision on whether you can continue to trust him.

I had to spread the rep, but these are good points.

I don't think that if I were him, though, that I would be talking to an ex that wants me back. That would be make it hard for her. It does sound innocent to me, but there's really no way to know. That's just the feeling I get from reading your post. This is part of the reason that long distance relationships are hard. You have to trust each other 100%.
