    Sink drain positioning
    I Am Remoldeling Kitchen. Drain For Sink Coming Out Of Floor Is 11" On Center From Wall. The New Wall Will Be 3" Closer To Drain(8" From Wall On Center). Do I Have To Move The Drain To Be Able To Hook Up The Sink?

    Hey Pat,

    This is a "S" trap situation. And while "S" traps are against code there are still a lot of them out there.
    You have "wiggle room" to use 45's and off set from the floor up to the connection. You might have to convert to PVC coming out of the floor but all this can be done without too much hassle. Good luck. Tom
