    Dead miss on #4
    Have a... 1997 Dodge caravan 6 cyl. 3.0... Have dead miss on cly 4.. have tried everything i.e. change plugs (twice), dist.cap, rotor, plug wires, #4 injector, ekg valve, pcv valve, removed all injectors, blew out fuel lines, change all o rings on injectors, cleaned all injectors, was told "Flashing the computer would do no good" buy local Dealership Mech. The engine has around 13000 miles on it. Had 210000 on old engine by using "Royal Purple" oil. (Great Stuff) Also had compression check on all cylinders and all OK. Don't know what else to do. Can't afford to take to pro.

    . Check for codes.

    . Lightly coat porcelein portion of the plug and top electrode with dielectric grease. Apply dielectric grease to each end of the spark plug wire.

    . Closely inspect distributor cap for any abnormality.

    . Ensure you are only using Champion spark plugs--the exact plug no. that came in the vehicle. No cross-referenced spark plugs.

    . Check the ohms on #4 spark plug wire. Who made the plug wires?
