Book suggestions
I LOVE to read. Any kind of books, but my most favorite are fantasy, and mystery. Any suggestions would be helpful.

If you like mysteries with historical backgrounds, either of Matthew Pearl's "The Poe Shadow" Or "The Dante Club" are pretty good.
As far as fantasy goes, "Heaven" By Ian Stewart, and Jack Cohen Is a good read.
Other than that
'The Stranger' By Albert Camus
'Ape and Essence' By Aldous Huxley is kind of fantasy/sci-fi.

The Epic of Gilgamesh is a good one. It's the ancient Babylonian version of Noah & the Flood! It's a big poem. It can be boring, but you'll feel accomplished if you read it! :)
Stephen King writes amazing books (THE STAND!), Sigmund Freud has some interesting (even if they're not accurate) books. Shakespeare is always amazing...
There's just so many great books out there, it's hard to choose which ones to recommend!

Mystery? I love mystery. Fact and fiction. I like anne rule's true crime stories. There's a series by meg cabot (I think she might use a different pen name for it) silver is for secrets. Blue is for (I can't remember.) white is for (can't remember that one either.) the girl isn't exactly a witch. But she has dreams and sort of predicts the future. Or parts of it. And she has to try and save people based on the dreams.

If you are a mystery fan, the Death By... series is a must.
The first book is called Death By Bikini
The second is called Death By Latte
And the last one is called Death By Denim
These are all by Linda Gerber, and they are amazing books! I'm sure you'll love them

If you really like fantasy, then try Eragon It's very well written, with a good plot and great attention to detail. I haven't really found any holes in the plot so far, It's the first of 3 (soon to be 4) books in a series. I really enjoy them. It took me less than 2 weeks to read all 3. One book is over 500 pages, the others at least over 600. I was absorbed, Ican't wait for the next one.

If you are fond of fantasy, you should really try Anne McCaffery's "Dragon Rider's of Pern" books. The series starts with "Dragonflight," "Dragonquest," and "The White Dragon" are the first three books of the series. It's a series I can't imagine anyone getting tired of.

OK, I am so frustrated! I had this book when I was in the 5th grade in the 80's, I'd say it was around 1985 or 1986. Anyway, I loved this book and I lost it when I was a kid and I would give ANYTHING to find it again! I got the book from the Weekly Reader book order in school. There was a girl...
