    Sound on Computer skips
The sound on my Dell computer skips... it doesn't matter if it's music or voice or from a CD or hard drive... I've used Itunes & Windows Media player... changed speakers... the same results

I suspect that there's another operation going on inside your computer that's interfering with songs being played. The first thing to do is to scan your computer. I'll recommend MalwareBytes:

    MalwareBytes.org

Download it, install it, and scan your system. I'd prefer a "full scan", but a "quick scan" may suffice. If it finds something, definitely do a full scan. Let me know what it finds.

If locating malware isn't the answer, the way to handle this is to go through your system and figure out what's running. I'm going to suggest that you download a copy of AutoRuns. It's a freebie from Microsoft (written by Russanovich and Cogswell, two great programmers who used to work on their own).

    AutoRuns for Windows V9.5

Unpack the file and launch AutoRuns.exe (if you don't want to install it, simply click the "Run Autoruns now from Live.Sysinternals.com" and run it. Click on the Logon tab. You should see several headings. You can right-click on each line on the page and paste it into a post here. That way, I can look at them and tell you what to either uninstall, or uncheck (stop from running at startup). This may also improve your machine's performance. Most companies want to put their own little icon in the system tray (bottom right of screen). In most cases, it's not necessary and often undesirable. It can really slow your machine down.
