    Genie SP 99 remote failing
My old Genie SP 99 garage door opener is in good working order except that here lately
The remote is failing to operate the door. The hard-wired button will work it properly. The batteries in the remote are fine. Once in a while, the remote will work but now most of the time, it won't. Could it be the capacitor failing, or does anyone have any information of what I should try before buying one? Thank you.
