    How do I install XP Professional on a Compaq CQ60-209
    I have a Compaq Latpop CQ60-209TU Which has vista basic preloaded but I want to Install XP Professional in it. How Do I install? I have tried to install the XP but then It is not showing the DVD Drive..

    Simply boot to a genuine XP CD and follow the on screen prompts.

    You will also need a separate key to activate XP.

    You need a Third party software called "nLite" to embed EHCI driver to XP bootable CD otherwise XP will unable to recognie your hard drive.

    DVD drive issue is may be solved by doing some trick in registry sooner I will tell you the trick.
