    Examles of biblical allusions in literature
    Hi, I am looking for some biblical allusions in the grapes of wrath, herman melville's Moby , and Hamlet. Can you help me?

    Probably if you Google the titles and add Biblical References, you'll get something.

    "...east of Eden" itself is from Genesis.

    Moby , many of the main characters' names, Ahab, Ishmael, Elijah, etc are from The Bible.

    Hamlet says, "there's a special providence in the fall of a sparrow"---this too iclose to a Bible quote, but I can't help you on which book and line.
