    Landlord did not fix problems.
I signed a lease that was advertised as a 4 bedroom and 2 bath home. After signing the lease, the landlord informed us the upstairs shower does not work. The landlord agreed to fix it before our move in date of May 22, 2009. The bathroom is still not fixed. I returned the keys along with a letter requesting my deposit back. The landlord refused to pay. Am I entitled to my deposit back?

You signed a lease. Just because you gave the keys back does not entitle you to your deposit back. In essence the landlord can hold you to the entire lease. Better get an attorney before the landlord takes you to court.
