Hi there.

My husband and I have been trying for a baby for a while now and I'm getting more and more fustrated!
The first day of my last period was just over 2 weeks ago and we have been having intercourse a lot during this time.
For about a week now I have been experiencing a lot of weird symptoms: bloatedness, weight gain, fatigue, stomach aches, back aches, frequent urination and tender/sensitive breasts. I am not so familiar with when I ovulate so I'm not sure if I could have fallen pregnant or not.
I want to know if these symptoms I have been experiencing are due to pregnancy or are they symptoms of ovulation?

It is so individual... For many women, pregnancy symptoms don't show up right away, but for many others, they do.

Odds are you did ovulate somewhere in the last two weeks, but that is not a guarantee.

Some women have no symptoms of ovulation, while others will know exactly when it is occurring and some symptoms can be similar to early pregnancy symptoms.

Wish there was a more definitive answer for you... I know the not knowing and wondering is both exciting and a cause of anxiety.

You can certainly try a pregnancy test or, if you wanted to be more sure, wait until your next period is due and see if it shows up or not. If the possible symptoms continue and you get a negative if you try a pregnancy test... you can of course try another before your next period if you can't stand the wait!
