I've never heard of this but dental problems can lead to a host of other health issues. Since you've had the troubled teeth removed, you should be fine.

I've heard of one person who lost his eyesight due to infections in his teeth.

I would think once he's had the infected teeth removed he would be OK?

It would depend how long the infection had been brewing in his body.

The nerves that control eye movement go through a place in the skull that is close to the upper wisdom teeth.. plus any MASSIVE infection can affect them, or push into the eye socket... I think it would be rare to have eye sight loss, maybe a bit more common to have your eye movement muscles affected by extractions/infections
