    Answering a summons
About 10 days ago, I got a summons saying I am being sued by my credit card company, bank of america to be exact. Can someone please help in in how to go about in answering a summons? I have 10 days to respond to the summons. I simply could not make the payment because of a change in jobs and a reduction in pay. I am also on a leave of absent from work for medical reasons receiving disability.
Dose any one have a templet of a letter to respond to a summons that can be used as a guide.

    Hi, Lientje!

Have you called them and spoken to them personally? I've done that a number of time with Bank of America, and have been able to work out some kind of payment plan.

I also make sure that I have someone else on the another phone when I'm speaking with them and let them know that someone else is on the line.

    Thanks!
