    Water srreaks on newly painted wall in bathroom
    Hi, we have just renovated out 25 year old bathroom, we painted the new drywall with a new dark akaline paint, just wondering why every time we now have a shower and after the exhaust fan going we are seeing water streakes on the walls long after the shower??

    What type of paint and how many coats?

    Did u use a primer? What type of finish for paint (semi-gloss, gloss, flat)?

    After water streaks leave, wipe wall with damp cloth. If streaking appears, not enough paint in that area.

    If you have water running down your wall you need a bigger, stronger exhaust fan.
