Hampton Bay Carriage House II light kit
I installed this ceiling fan w/ light kit in my kids' playroom. I followed the instructions to the letter and when I tested the fan and light, the fan came on, but only 2 of the 4 lights came on (the 2 opposing ones). I don't know if its wiring or something else, but how can I fix it? I tried re-installing the light bulbs, thinking they were screwed in crooked, but its strange that it's the opposing lights that don't work. I also tried using light bulbs that I know aren't burned out. Help!

You might have a 3 position light switch on your fan. Pull once turns two bulbs on,pull second time turns all four light bulbs on, pull third time turns all bulbs off.

Try the pullchain, if that doesn't fix it, check the wiring inside, all wires from each light should connect together.
