    Squeaky GE dryer
    It is KILLLING me. Squeaks worse with heavier load such as towels or jeans. How do I fix it? What is the likely cause?:confused::confused:

    1. Belt may be slipping on the motor pulley.
    2. The bearings on the support rollers that hold up the drum may be going bad.
    3. The motor bearing may be failing.

    Fix?
    1. Clean pulley. Replace belt around drum.
    2. Replace support roller. This involves removing the front of the dryer and the drum.
    3. Replace motor.
