    OPT taxes
    I found out from the IRS website that as a student on OPT I do not have to pay social security and medicare taxes (http://www.irs.gov/businesses/small/...106287,00.html) What kind of form do I need to file with my employer and what form should they file with the IRS when reporting my empoyment?

    Form 483. Download IRS Pub 519 and read pages 42-46 to get the needed support forms.

    Hi,
    Can you please provide a direct link to form 483. I was searching for that in the IRS website but I could not find. What other supported forms I have to provide to my employer.
