    Hi,
I need help with a care plan that I'm doing for school. It's about a communication barrier with a patient that doesn't speak english. What would be a good short term and long term goal ?

Carebear, we don't assist with homework and what would be the point of helping you with this one. You MUST think this through and do it yourself if you are to be any good at what you intend to do. Is it nursing ? All the better to try hard and learn to help the people you are caring for.

Actually, we're given care plan books to look at for goals and interventions, but I left my book at school so that's why I'm asking! Thanks anyway...
