    Someone open a case against me
    A person open a case in court for me. And the case is still panding. Is illigal that I try to talk to him outside court?

    Depends are you going to threaten them, or try to imtimidate them.

    Or perhaps offer them a settlement

    In most cases you are most likely going to say or do something that will go against you.
