Is in all over the house ? When you open hot water side, what happens: do you get any water at all ? No water ? Cold water ?

Hot water starts at hot water heater. Go to the heater and see if the valve at the heater is in OPEN position.

Good start by Milo. Is your heater gas or electric? If you find the supply line is open and not the problem lets try to figure out if there is even any heating taling place in your tank.
