    Kenmore dryer model 96576200
    The heating element will not heat. Checked resistance of element, it is 9.5 ohms. Thermostat on element cover clicks when heated with lighter and clicks again when cool but resistance of thermostat remains 0. thanks:)

    The timer contacts may be pitted.
