    Complex of copper 2
[cu(h2O)6]2+,, does this exist? coordination number of copper 2 is 4 and copper in water form a complex of [cu(h20)4]2+,in solution 2 OH will form weak bonds with it to give an octahedral structure of [cu(h20)4(oh)2], so how come in so many books this formula of [cu(h20)6]2+ exists (even on internet)?? Help
