    Do you have a router that you can connect to, or are you simply wanting to connect two computers without anything between them?

    Most wireless adapters will allow you to see other devices. Creating a network between two computers is called an Ad Hoc network. You would see this as one of the wireless options when you create a connection to the other computer.
