    Wallpaper removal and wall prep estimate
    My finace is starting his own painting business and we are trying to figure out how much to charge for wallpaper removal and wall prep. Can you assist?

    Hi, ldub1968!

    I would suggest figuring out how much you might want to make per hour and figuring your estimates according to that.

    Depending on where you're located, the price range for that type of work might be in the $20.00 to $30.00 per hour range.

    I would follow Clough's advice, but I would do two more things.

    Talk to prospective customers to see what they would pay.

    Check prices of your competition.
