I have bought a usb to audio video cable.
I wish to see the display on my TV screen.
I am not able to get the settings right.
Please help.

Still not quit sure what the issue is. Can you see anything? Do you know how to send the signal? Is it just not fitting on the screen?

Well it says usb device has malfunctioned.
Please change the device..
I even tried changing the ports..

The usb cable you bought might have a set of drivers needed for it to operate properly... I have seen that kind of issue with the usb to serial cable converters we have.

Check the manufacturere for updated drivers or specialty software that might be needed with the cable.
