Will this show on a deed ?
If someone takes a loan from a bank and uses his house which is paid in full to qualify for the loan in some way, would the bank's name appear on the house's deed ? Under what circumstances would the name of a lending institution appear on the deed to a house ? Thanks.

The loans never appear on the "deed" but a lien is filed at the recorder of deeds to show that the property is subject to a lien.

So if you want to know can you go to the court house and see if there is a lien against a home, yes you can
