    Pain in my throat!
    I went to the cinema the other night and whilst eating popcorn I felt a bit dislodge in my throat. It felt as though the piece was stuck in there but now I have an extremely sore throat, I have been to the doctor who said that its very red but that was it. I have a small hole on my tonsil and on the side is a piece of skin hanging. I'm worried that I might have tonsil stones but there is nothing white on my tonsils, its just incredibly sore to swallow to sometimes when I swollen it feels as though there is something sharp stick stuck in there but not all the time. I have gargled with salt water and still nothing is happening. Its been 3 days.

    Probably one of the hulls scratched your throat. Continue gargling with salt water. If it's not better in several more days, go back to the doctor.
