I have a boyfriend, but I am starting to like my Friend
Ok, so I've been with my boyfriend for 6 months and love him very much. :o

But recently I met a new friend, and he and I are one-in-the same. We agree on numerous things and are really fun and outgoing people and ALWAYS have a good time together. We've become best friends in a rather short amount of time. In addition, we exercise together every week day, and we've hung out quite a bit. And I find myself beginning to have feelings for him, and they seem to be more and more apparent recently. The comfort I get when I'm with my boyfriend, like "nothing could hurt me" or w/e I'm beginning to get with my friend. (plus it doesn't help that my family loves him, and they really want me to be w/him rather than my current bf)

I don't believe my friend has the same feelings for me as I do for him, and I know he's recently started talking to another girl. I find myself getting jealous/hurt, but I ignore those feelings and encourage him 100% cause I know he's been looking for a good girlfriend for awhile, and he deserves to be happy. We do flirt on occasions, but I know we are both really outgoing people, and our actions can just be taken that way, but when I'm with him I feel really happy. And when I'm with my boyfriend, I feel incredibly guilty.

My boyfriend and I get along really well, and I really do love him, but these feeling I'm beginning to have for my friend, I can't ignore for much longer. Cause I miss my friend and/or am thinking about him frequently, and I know it's UNFAIR to my boyfriend.

I know I'd rather have my friend in my life as a friend, than to not have him in it at all, but I really don't know what to do.

Should I just give it time and see if these feelings die down, or should I explain the situation to my boyfriend, risk getting dumped, and possibly be left alone. Or should I talk to my friend and risk losing him too. :(

    Please help!

It is entirely up to you. But be truthful with your boyfriend. Tell him your seeing him or talking to him if you are, but if your not sure about your emotions yet then don't tell him, it would devastate him. Look at the good parts of your relationship and decide whether it is worth staying with your artner for. If your feelings continue you should tell your partner, and explain it to him. If you don't want these feelings, try to see this other guy less

Let the guy go, as your not that into him, and then you can get with anyone you want.
