    Period late,tubes clmaped
I don't know what to think about this. I have clips placed about 5 years ago. My last period was April 1st. It came a week early that month. Now,this period is late by 7 days. I have noticed an increase in cervical mucus, watery sort of but somewhat stretchy and clear. I had my hubby feel the crevix and he said he had to feel really far back but said that it felt firm. I have done 3 tests all of which were negative. I am gettins some very faint cramps, nothing like my menstrual cramps. Can anyone give me some insight?

There are a number of reasons a period may be irregular... pregnancy is just one. Certainly tubal ligations have been known to fail, and clips alone are probably more likely than others, but it is still considered permanent.

See what happens in another week or so... period may just be off this cycle. If still no period, try another test. If still no period next month, or if you feel you may be experiencing any possible pregnancy symptoms, ask your doctor about having a blood test done.

I was going to wait until saturda, making it 10 days late to have a blood test done. I do know with my last child a urine test was negative a week later a blood test had a level of 11,but the levels for the lab started at 5,I had actually told the office that they were lying to me and they told me to repeat the test in a few days.

The past few months my period has always come on the 9th,last month was a week early. What about the increase in cervical mucus? I do not recall that before my period. It is really prominent when I wipe.

An increase in cervical mucus is fairly common in pregnancy... but it could just be the stage of your cycle as well. Certainly pregnancy is possible, but unlikely because of the tubal. You may be in that small percentage that it eventually doesn't work for. See what happens at the end of the week.
