    Civil Lawsuit
I just found out yesterday that my ex landlord (I'm in Union county NJ) had issued a bank levy against my checking acct. I wasn't served a summons, in fact the two addresses she sent the summons was my prior address and a family friend. Suffice to say I never received anything and a default judgment was set against me. I am going to file a motion to vacat the judgment, but wanted to know what rights I had on a emergency basis to get the levy released. I was just laid off... I have rent and car note to pay and have nothing! Is there anything that I can do??

Yes, you file the motion to vacate and ask for an emergency hearing.
