    Central Air Conditioner Fan
    Hi.
My central air conditioner is functioning fine, but is a bit noisy due to a slightly bent fan.
Last year when a air conditioner guy was here he said I should probably get a new fan unit. Is there any way to do a DIY repair? If not, how much should I pay for the fan? I just don't want to get ripped off.
Thanks so much for your advise!

Normally you can just change the fan blade it self which is one piece attached by an screw or nut. In some cases you might to change the whole fan unit which consist of the fan motor and blade, it's a easy change over about 20 minutes cost could run anywhere from $20.00 up to $100.00
