I put up two ballcocks. Which one's yours? Did this just happen or has it not been filling right for some time? How's the rest of the bathroom fixtures? Back to you, Tom

If water is going into the tank but it isn't filling, you probably need to check the flapper (usually a drain plug on a chain connected to handle)
If no water is coming into the toilet tank, check your float assembly first usually the float is the problem. If your tank is empty the float should be down gently push it down to see if it's that.
If not then, fill valve

Hello Robin,
Respond to Tom's post.
Is the water coming to tank and it is not filling up to the level?
Does the tank fills and it leaks back?
If you respond to the questions accordingly we will tell how to fix it, Thanks.
John

Your flopper is most likely stuck in open position. Open lid, look inside, open and close flopper with your hand. That should do...

Robin,
Looking at the other posts you have us flying blind. We really don't know the exact nature of your complaint. Every post has a question. Before we can go any farther answer the questions.
Which of the two ballcocks are yours?
Is the water coming in the tank and leaking right back out?
Is there no water coming into the tank at all?
Is the tank simply not filling up to the leve3l it should?
We hate to make guesses here so how about helping us out with some details.
Regards, Tom

I'm having the same problem, my toilet tank is not filling up at all and there is no water running into it at all. I have asked my landlord to fix it and no luck there so I'm just going to figure this out on my own. I also just realized yesterday that my sink is also leaking too. So If you know what's going on that would help a lot because I am tired of feeling like I am living in the woods with an outhouse. I don't know what is going on.

More details please! Look at the pictures above and tell us what ball cock you have. Also, tell us where the sink is leaking from. Is it a drainage leak or a pressure leak? Back to you, Tom

My toilet flushes just fine, but after the tank drains it doesn't fill back up. I have to manually push down the float cup to get it to refil the tank. I have no ideas how to fix this.
Can anyone help?
