    Medical error
I recently visited my local ER and was diagnosed with Bronchitis. The Dr. wanted to give me Steroids, being a uncontrolled Diabetic I questioned him on this. He said I it would not effect me, however a hour after I left I had to return with my blood sugar being above 600. This is accoma or death range. Do you think I have a law suit against the Dr. and hospital for this?

Did you inform the doctor of your medical condition prior to any drugs being administered? Can the spike in your blood sugar be tied to the medication he prescribed?

It was an error in judgement... malpractice maybe. What would you sue him for. Did you suffer injury or loss?
