    Can I??
I had an iud put in over 2 yrs ago. Do women ovulate with one in and if so if it came out around the time I would ovulate can I get pregnant right away? I don't know when my cycle is because I normally don't have periods with the iud. But I do cramp and bloat every month. Anyway my iud did come out and I had intercourse that day. Is there a chance I am pregnant and when would be the best time to find out? Thank you

Whenever you have sex, no matter what form of birth control you are using, there is always a chance to become pregnant.

The only 100% method of birth control is abstinence. Period, no questions asked!! ;)

So, yes there is a chance you could be pregnant. What are the chances? I don't know, you should contact your doctor so that he can do an exam and make sure everything is okay.

Also, did you see the IUD? How do you know it came out?

Maybe you should pay a visit to the doctor to make sure everything is okay.

I know it came out because I have it. I called my doctor and they said if I wanted another to come in. but I don't want another. I am trying to get pregnant again. I am just wondering if you ovulate with one in.

Yes, you can (I believe) but the IUD prevents implantation.

Now that it is out you should have no problem getting pregnant.

    Good luck.
