    HVAC blows warm air
Our home is 1 1/2 years old. We will be entering our second summer here shortly. Last summer our HVAC upstairs started blowing warm air. The tech came our checked over everything and finally said it had low freon and so he charged the system... Worked fine and now since we are starting to use our AC again, it is blowing warm air again (73 degrees). We keep the air on 70 so obviously it will not cool until late at night. (we are in hot GA).

I will be calling the company who installed it to fix it, but I want to know, I am sure this should not be happening so soon... So could it be leaking freon during the year. We have a downstars unit that has had no problems at all.

    Thanks for any help

Having to add refrigerant to a system is not a fix, it's a band aid until the problem can be found and taking care of. With you having a new system it should be under warranty. Ask for a invoice when work is done even though its under warranty to keep for your records, this way you can show you have had problems from the start.

As we were under warranty all last year and up until the end of March we did use the company that installed it so they are very familiar with my problems... I will be calling them tomorrow as well to find and fix my problem... And they should do it for free as they have been our here I believe 4 or 5 time is the last 12 months.

Any idea on what my problem might be?

They can add dye to the refrigerant to find all leaks. At this point I think the should. The dye will not lie and will tell the exact spots of all refrigerant leaks in the system.
